Texas rough fishing
A Carp, Gar, Buffalo & Catfishing blog

About & Subscribe
Carp fishing isn't as big here in the US as it is overseas, and that is especially true here in Texas. Here, most anglers consider carp "trash fish", along with tilapia and the native freshwater drum, smallmouth buffalo & various gar species. However, these "trash fish" are some of the biggest and hardest fighting fish in freshwater, and that is precisely why we fish for them. Carp, buffalo, drum, gar, and catfish are all species we commonly target plus some occasional fly fishing and saltwater fishing.
